Session Description
Records Management is the process of ensuring information is available from the time of its creation to its disposal to allow your office to function efficiently. It protects the interests of the government and its constituents and allows offices to save time and resources.
 

You will learn the fundamentals of records management, as well as legal records requirements for government offices in Pennsylvania. Tyler will also discuss the basics of electronic records management and share resources available to help PA government offices remain compliant and better manage their records

Speaker Bio
Tyler Stump is an archivist at the Pennsylvania State Archives, Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is responsible for appraisal/acquisition of Government records. He has master’s degrees in history and library science from the University of Maryland, College Park.

COVID-19 Vaccine and Your Workforce:
A Guide for Government Finance Officers

Session Description
Attendees will learn whether a public employer may require employees to get the vaccine, how to handle employee objections to the vaccine and the latest EEOC and OSHA guidance on the COVID-19 vaccine.  This session will unpack key issues for employers who are considering mandating the vaccine, will explore alternatives to requiring the vaccine, and will address the impact on the workplace, including Title VII and ADA accommodation considerations, wage and hour, labor relations, workers’ compensation, and workplace safety matters.

Speaker Bio 
Anne E. Zerbe is a Member of the McNees Labor & Employment Practice Group. Anne, who has successfully defended business clients in county, state and federal courts for more than 20 years, focuses her practice on prevention of employment liability, defending against employment claims and assisting clients with compliance issues concerning the multitude of employment laws and regulations governing employers. She also counsels employers, practice groups and health care providers on employment law compliance, risk management and HIPAA compliance. Additionally, she serves as special counsel for investigations and is a trusted resource to handle executive terminations.

Anne is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and has been a featured speaker regarding various employment law topics for the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, the Pennsylvania State Counsel of SHRM, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Employee Relations Council, the York Society of Human Resources Managers, the Physicians’ Office Management Association of York, the York Society of Human Resources and Quest Behavioral Health EAP.

Anne served on the Board of Directors for Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Pennsylvania and the Children’s Home of York and serves on the Board of Directors for the York County Bar Association. She also volunteers as a member of the Endowment Committee for Advent Lutheran Church.
