Join the GFOA-PA for a conversation about The Great Resignation led by Nancy J. Hess on Thursday, August 18th, at 3:00 pm. Nancy will speak for one hour, and after the educational session concludes, enjoy a social happy hour with fellow GFOA-PA members! Complimentary food will be available and one drink ticket will be given to each registrant.

About the Educational Session:

“Looking ahead, governments ranked the offering of a competitive compensation package as their highest priority (86 percent rank it as important), with an additional 41 percent indicating an intent to perform a job classification study,” the report says. “The most significant change from last year is in dealing with the challenge of turnover, which has risen from 44 percent identifying it as an important priority in 2021 to 67 percent in 2022.”  - State and Local Workforce Study 2022

We are all called to lead through this time of change. How can finance professionals be a good partner in solving the crisis some are calling The Great Resignation? What do we see happening in our workplaces? What strategies are we working on or thinking about? We will talk about what is on the horizon and how we can be a part of the solution.
